Background
Project Suplex is a personal project, with the aim of making a poster everyday. In the commercial environment my work always serves a purpose, with a strong focus on the needs of the end user and the clients business goals. However this project is less about functional design and more an artistic expression, a chance to experiment with new tools, processes and techniques.
As this is a daily side project, each poster is limited to the few hours that remain after work. This constraint leaves no room for a perfectionist ego, instead it challenges me to be comfortable with possibly creating something that isn’t pixel perfect or is incomplete of embellishments. It’s more important to make something, learn from it and progress forward.
